Den Jahresrückblick aus Sicht von Melih Kesmen, unserem Chefdesigner, gab es vor kurzem in der taz zu lesen. Das vergangene Jahr durch seine Brille findet sich hier:

Kalt und grau ist’s geworden, da muss ein Farbklecks her. In der Tat, deshalb haben wir ein Novum für den Winter eingeführt: Der bunte Aufdruck auf Winterhoodies nur für Kids, die sowohl coole Jungs als auch Mädels warm halten. Das süße Ummah Girl ist immer mit dabei, ebenso das funky Arrangement von islamischen Gegenständen. In der Schule, im Kindergarten und auf dem Spielplatz ist Spaß garantiert, und zwar mit Styleislam®.

Second Styleislam®-Shop Opened in Istanbul

There is good news once again. Mashaallah! This is no surprise, since the second Styleislam®-licence shop, called islamcollection, has been opened. No, not in Germany yet, but a great deal closer than Medina/Saudi Arabia. The magic word is Istanbul. There, you can go shopping to your heart’s content in the best central location and marvel at/try on all Styleislam® products on the spot. Die Axel Springer-Presse, bekannt für sein auflagenstärkstes Blatt namens Bildzeitung und die Welt, die ja beide von Haus aus eher ein kritischeres Bild von Muslimen präsentieren. Neulich war die Welt bei Styleislam und hat sich einen Eindruck von der Arbeit hinter den Kulissen verschafft.
